DEER PARK

This series of embroidered textile panels, wallhangings and pictures are based around a daily walk to my studio when I lived in Evershot, West Dorset. Walking the seven mile round trip every day took me through Melbury Park, a centuries old landscape of woods and grazing land for sheep, deer and horses with a central landscape of cultivated gardens, lakes and magnificent trees located around Melbury House.
