Beacons Four

Created in the year 2001, from my Cornish Collection, Beacons Four is free-machined and hand embroidered onto layers of silks, cotton muslins, lame and cotton organdy (a white transparent fabric which gives the piece the appearance of floating, casting shadows onto the surface below). Please note one of the above images is a photograph of the actual embroidery, mounted and framed under glass.

Here it is available as a print in a Limited edition of 200.

Beacons Four takes it's inspiration from the coast around Bottallack Head known for it's breathtaking scenery and it's disused tin mines and engine houses and was selected from 6,000 entries worldwide for inclusion in an international publication called FiberArts Design Book 7 published by Lark Books.

Printed to the original embroidery dimensions of:

25.5 x 20.5 cms with a border of 4.5cms

Mount and Frame not included

These limited edition prints are exact photographic reproductions of my original embroideries. They achieve the highest quality and are professionally mastered to get the closest match to the originals as possible in colour, tone and texture. The level of detail is remarkable with every stitch and fabric fibres visible and is an ideal method for making unique artwork more affordable.

A maximum of 200 prints of each design will be made available and each print is numbered and signed.

Printed on 280gsm Fine Art paper – an acid-free 100% cotton quality - using archival inks that are guaranteed not to fade for at least 80 years (in normal conditions).

Each print has a generous blank border around the printed area to allow for your own mount and frame. The width of this blank area can vary from print to print.
